The Black Association of South Hills
For Women

BASH, through community participation in its fundraisers and corporate donations, awards scholarships to graduating seniors within the target areas of the South Hills and Washington County that are pursuing higher education at an accredited University, College, Community College, technical or trade school. BASH recognizes local high school graduates to inspire and motivate them toward higher education.
Applicants for the scholarships compete for cash awards on the basis of academic performance, an essay, extracurricular activities and counselor/teacher references. BASH actively petitions area high schools for eligible students and arranges with school officials to contact students and encourages them to apply for scholarships.
